There’s something truly magical about a winter wedding at the beach—and Luke and Kelsey’s day was nothing short of perfect. They tied the knot at the beautiful Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach, with a stunning reception that followed at the Grand Dunes Ocean Club. Even though it was winter, the day had that amazing coastal magic that only Myrtle Beach can deliver—not too hot, not too cold, just cozy, fresh, and full of love.
The morning was full of excitement and sweet moments as the girls got ready in the cutest blue and white floral pajamas—setting the perfect tone for the day ahead. All the while, the guys kept the energy light and fun, sharing laughs and a few pre-ceremony nerves.
After a beautiful ceremony, Luke and Kelsey made their exit in style by hopping onto the most charming trolley! Cruising around town with the wedding party was such a highlight of the day. We were able to stop and take some gorgeous photos with the newlyweds and their crew, and honestly—it felt like something straight out of a movie. The trolley was the perfect touch for their winter wedding vibe: classic, a little whimsical, and full of fun.
The reception at Grand Dunes was just breathtaking. From heartfelt toasts to an evening of dancing under twinkling lights, Luke and Kelsey’s love story was celebrated in the most beautiful way.
If you’re planning a wedding in Myrtle Beach—whether you’re a local or dreaming of a destination wedding—winter might just be one of the best-kept secrets. Mild temperatures, fewer crowds, and a cozy, romantic atmosphere create the perfect backdrop for a day you’ll never forget.
It was an absolute honor to capture Luke and Kelsey's love story, and I can’t wait to celebrate even more couples as they get married in this magical beach town.
