A Heartwarming Family Session in Myrtle Beach

July 19, 2025 Hosanna Wilmot

Some sessions stay with you long after the photos are taken, and this was absolutely one of them. When Zach reached out to book a session with his two young daughters, my heart melted. It’s not every day that a dad takes the initiative to schedule family photos, and this session reminded me just how powerful and meaningful those moments can be.

A Father’s Love Captured

From the beginning of the session, it was clear how much love Zach has for his girls. There was laughter, snuggles, playful moments, and sweet quiet loving ones too. These girls will grow up with the most beautiful memories captured—ones that show just how loved and valued they are by their dad.

Styling Little Girls

I also have to give Zach some serious credit—he totally nailed the outfits! He coordinated with both of his daughters in a way that felt young, beautiful and thoughtful without being overly matched. BIg sister wore a soft shade of pink and little sister wore light pink and pale blue, which pulled in the color of blue for dad.

As a photographer, I always encourage families to coordinate rather than match. It keeps things natural while still looking cohesive, and this trio pulled it off perfectly.

Why These Sessions Matter

Family photos aren’t just for big groups or traditional structures—they’re for every family, in every shape and form. This session was a reminder that love is what makes a family, and that taking time to celebrate your bond is something you’ll never regret.

Zach’s daughters will look back on these photos one day and remember how loved, important and supported they are.

Family Photos Matter—No Matter What Your Family Looks Like

Whether you're a family of three, a single parent, a couple with pets, or anything in between—your story deserves to be documented. Family photos are a beautiful way to freeze time, celebrate connection, and create something you’ll treasure forever.

Let’s make some magic together—no matter what your family looks like.
