A Beautiful Microwedding in Charleston: Katie and Brad's Story by Hosanna Wilmot Photography

May 17, 2024 Hosanna Wilmot

Welcome to the blog!

Weddings come in all shapes and sizes, and each one holds a special place in my heart as a photographer. However, there's something uniquely charming about microweddings - these smaller, more intimate gatherings that allow couples to truly focus on their love and commitment to each other. This was incredibly apparent in Katie and Brad's microwedding in Charleston, South Carolina.

The beauty of this wedding was truly something to behold. The couple chose to keep the guest list small, inviting only their closest friends and family members. This decision added an intimate, personal touch to the event, making each moment feel even more special.

As they exchanged their vows and celebrated their love, the joy in the air was palpable. Every smile, every tear, every loving glance exchanged between Katie and Brad was a testament to their deep connection. And as their photographer, I had the privilege of capturing these beautiful moments - these snapshots of love, joy, and commitment.

Working alongside Alyssa from Stunning and Brilliant Events, who served as the wedding planner, was an added bonus. Her expertise and attention to detail ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing me to focus on capturing the magic of the day.

In essence, Katie and Brad's microwedding was a beautiful reminder of what weddings are truly about - two people, in love, committing to spend their lives together. It was an honor to be a part of their special day, and I look forward to capturing many more moments like these in the future.

“photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. what you have caught on film is captured forever...it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
