One of my favorite types of sessions to photograph is a family vacation session—there’s something so special about slowing down, being fully present, and capturing a season of life exactly as it is. When Amanda reached out to me about documenting their family while they were on vacation at Sunset Beach, I knew it was going to be a meaningful session.
Sunset Beach, North Carolina provided the most beautiful backdrop for their family photos. Soft coastal light, gentle ocean breezes, and that relaxed beach atmosphere made everything feel effortless. Vacation sessions always carry a different kind of energy—less rushed, more laughter, and plenty of moments that unfold naturally. That was especially true for Amanda’s family as they spent time together, soaking in the sunset and simply enjoying being together.
