In the world of photography, some moments stick with you more than others. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to be a part of a truly special moment for a lovely family during their vacation. Amanda reached out to me with a unique request: to capture family photos while they were on vacation, and also to document a surprise proposal for their daughter Lexi and her boyfriend Mike.
The session began like any other, with me capturing the family’s dynamic, their bond, and various group photos. As everyone settled into the session, the anticipation built up for the surprise moment. Suddenly, Mike got down on one knee and popped the question to Lexi. The look of surprise and joy on her face was priceless, and she quickly said yes!
Being part of such a significant moment was incredibly fun and heartwarming. Capturing Lexi’s reaction, the joy on her face, and the family's elation as they celebrated this new chapter in Lexi and Mike’s lives made this session unforgettable. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do—freezing in time the emotions, love, and happiness that people will cherish forever.
