This summer, I had the BEST time working with Stephanie and her beautiful family at Sunset Beach. From the very beginning, I knew this session would be special — not only because the location is breathtaking, but because both sets of grandparents were able to join in! Family photos like these aren’t just about pretty portraits; they’re about preserving memories that span generations.
Stephanie was absolutely stunning, the kids were bursting with personality, and the love between them all made every single photo shine. There’s something magical about watching little ones run into the arms of their grandparents, or seeing everyone laugh together as the waves crash behind them. It was a session full of warmth, joy, and connection.
And then, Stephanie shared the kindest words about her experience with me:
“Hosanna was so great to work with. We visited Sunset Beach this summer and wanted a few family photos as we were traveling with my kids and both sets of their grandparents. Hosanna's communication was great from the start and she was very easy to work with. She was flexible on timing of photos (making the perfect sunrise/sunset times was difficult with young kids), and made it work despite it not being the optimal lighting. She met us close to our location so we didn't need to travel and was so efficient with the photo shoot and coordinating all of the shots we wanted in the time frame we had. She was so kind and made us very comfortable. She was great with the kids as well and captured their personalities perfectly. She turned the photos around quickly and we really loved them all. We definitely will be utilizing her again when we travel back to the area!”
Reading words like these remind me why I do what I do. My goal isn’t just to take photos — it’s to make families feel comfortable, to capture genuine moments, and to create keepsakes that can be cherished for years to come.
This Sunset Beach family session was such a joy, and I’m so grateful to have been part of these memories for Stephanie and her family.
