You all know how much I love a beautiful beach session, and Alicia's family session in Myrtle Beach was one for the books!
From the moment we arrived, the weather was absolutely perfect. We were greeted with the most beautiful light, a gentle ocean breeze, and colors that honestly made my photographer heart so happy. As the session went on, the sky continued to get prettier and prettier, creating some of the most gorgeous tones I've seen in a while. The soft blues, warm golden light, and pastel colors throughout the evening made this one of my favorite family sessions to photograph.
One of the things I loved most about working with Alicia and her family was how relaxed and connected everyone was. There was so much laughter, so many sweet interactions, and plenty of genuine moments that made documenting their family such a joy. Those authentic connections are always what I am looking for during a session. While I absolutely love creating beautiful portraits, it is those in-between moments, the laughs, the hugs, and the way families naturally interact, that often become my favorites.
As we moved through the different areas of the beach, we were able to capture a wonderful variety of images. From the dunes to the shoreline, every location seemed to be showing off that evening. The colors were simply stunning, and every time I looked through my camera, I found myself getting excited about what we were creating together.
I often say that beautiful weather is a bonus, but when you combine a wonderful family, gorgeous light, and a breathtaking Myrtle Beach sunset, it creates something truly special. This session was filled with all of those things and quickly became one of my favorites from the season.
Alicia, thank you for trusting me to capture these memories for your family. It was such a pleasure spending the evening with you all, and I hope these images are treasured for generations to come.
