There is something so incredibly special about getting to photograph my couples not just on their wedding day, but in the beautiful seasons that follow.
Ashaar and Devan are so dear to my heart. I had the honor of capturing their wedding back in August of last year, and it was truly one of those days filled with so much love, intention, and joy. So when they reached out to share that they were expecting, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmingly grateful to continue documenting their story.
This beach session was everything I love about what I do, soft light, salty air, and a love that has only deepened with time.
We met along the shoreline just before sunset, when the sky begins to soften and everything takes on that dreamy, golden glow. Ashaar looked radiant and definitely is wearing the pregnancy glow!
Pregnancy announcements hold such a sacred kind of joy. It’s a season filled with wonder, change, and so much love waiting to unfold. Being invited into that space, especially by a couple I’ve already shared such a meaningful milestone with, is something I never take for granted.
As a mother myself, these sessions always feel especially close to my heart. I know how quickly these moments pass, and how meaningful it is to have them preserved in a way that feels timeless, soft, and true to you.
