Taylor and Seth’s engagement session at Huntington Beach State Park in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina was nothing short of magical. This location truly has it all, and it was the perfect backdrop to celebrate this exciting season of their lives.
We began their session surrounded by the picturesque marsh views that Huntington Beach State Park is so well known for. The soft coastal light, winding boardwalks, and tall grasses created a romantic and peaceful setting that felt effortlessly beautiful. Every direction we turned offered another stunning view, making it easy to capture timeless, natural moments between Taylor and Seth.
One of my favorite parts of this session was incorporating the charm of Atalaya Castle. Its historic architecture added such a unique and elegant touch to their images, blending coastal beauty with old-world character. From there, we made our way to the beach, where the wide-open shoreline and ocean breeze brought a relaxed, joyful energy to the session. The coastal backdrop was the perfect way to wrap up a session that felt both romantic and fun.
Taylor and Seth were a dream to photograph, and their connection made every moment feel genuine and effortless. I am beyond excited to celebrate with them and photograph their wedding next fall. If their engagement session is any indication of what’s to come, their wedding day is going to be absolutely incredible.
Huntington Beach State Park continues to be one of my favorite locations to photograph engagement sessions, offering a beautiful mix of marshland, historic charm, and coastal beach scenery.
