There is something so incredibly special about photographing a family that's on the verge of a brand-new chapter. Pregnancy announcement sessions are filled with anticipation, excitement, and so much joy as families celebrate the news that their hearts, and their homes, are about to grow.
This sweet session with Samantha and her family was exactly that.
Together with her husband and their adorable little boy, they shared the exciting news that they are expecting a baby girl! Watching big brother proudly celebrate becoming a sibling was one of my favorite parts of the entire session. You could already tell how excited he was to welcome his little sister into the family.
Pregnancy announcement sessions are about so much more than simply revealing exciting news. They capture the anticipation before everything changes. The season of dreaming, waiting, and imagining what life will look like with one more little person to love.
Those moments deserve to be remembered just as much as newborn photos.
One of the things we loved most about this session was how relaxed and joyful it felt. There was so much laughter, so many hugs, and so many genuine moments between this family of three as they prepared to become a family of four. Those candid interactions are always my favorite because they tell the real story behind the photographs.

The beach created the perfect backdrop for this announcement. With the soft coastal scenery and peaceful atmosphere, it felt like the perfect place to celebrate such exciting news. There is something timeless about sharing life-changing moments surrounded by the beauty of the ocean.
