I had the sweetest time photographing Elise’s senior session at Cherry Grove Point in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Elise traveled all the way from Massachusetts for her senior photos, and I was so honored that she chose me to capture such a special season in her life.
Senior sessions are always such a joy because they mark such an exciting chapter. It is that beautiful in-between season of celebrating everything that has brought you to this point while also looking ahead to all that is coming next. Elise carried herself with so much grace and kindness, and she was truly an absolute sweetheart from the moment we started.
What made this session even more meaningful was that Elise’s father is also a photographer, and he encouraged her to reach out to me. That felt like such an honor. Being trusted by another photographer, especially to photograph someone they love so deeply, is something I do not take lightly.
Cherry Grove Point was the perfect location for Elise’s senior portraits. This little stretch of North Myrtle Beach is full of soft coastal beauty, from the sandy shoreline to the ocean breeze and beautiful natural light. It gives such a peaceful, timeless feel to senior photos, and it was the perfect backdrop for Elise’s session.
Throughout her session, Elise was relaxed, joyful, and so natural in front of the camera. We captured a mix of classic senior portraits, soft coastal images, and those sweet candid moments that show so much personality. I loved how her photos felt elegant, natural, and true to her.
