Welcome to the blog!
There is something so special about photographing couples who are in the middle of one of the sweetest seasons of life, and Stacie and John’s engagement session was exactly that.
Traveling all the way from New York City, these two chose the charm, beauty, and timeless elegance of Charleston as the backdrop for their engagement photos, and I couldn't have been more honored to capture this exciting chapter for them.
From the moment we began their session, it was obvious how much joy these two bring to one another. They were relaxed, full of laughter, and completely present with each other. Those are always my favorite sessions because the love naturally shines through every photograph.
Charleston provides such a beautiful setting for engagement photos, and Stacie and John looked absolutely stunning surrounded by the historic architecture, cobblestone streets, and romantic Southern charm that make this city so special. Every corner seemed to offer another beautiful backdrop, but honestly, these two made every location shine.
One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is getting to know my couples before their wedding day. It gives us the opportunity to connect, learn how they interact together, and create a comfortable experience before the wedding arrives. By the end of our session, I felt even more excited about the celebration that awaits them next spring.
Stacie and John will be saying "I do" at the beautiful Boone Hall Plantation next spring, and I truly cannot wait to be part of their wedding day. Boone Hall is one of the most iconic and breathtaking wedding venues in the Charleston area, and knowing these two will be celebrating their love there makes it even more special.
Their engagement session was filled with genuine smiles, sweet moments, and so much anticipation for the future they are building together. It was such a joy to capture this season for them, and I know their wedding day is going to be absolutely beautiful.
Stacie and John, thank you for trusting me to document your love story. I am counting down the days until we celebrate with you at Boone Hall next spring!
Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs., your best adventure is just beginning.
