There is something so special about family vacations.
Life slows down, everyone is together, and for a little while, the only thing on the agenda is making memories. That's exactly why I love photographing families while they're visiting Myrtle Beach.
The Longmeyer family was vacationing here and wanted to preserve this season of life with beautiful beach portraits. Their session was full of genuine smiles, laughter, and sweet moments that couldn't have been posed. Those are always my favorite kinds of sessions.
One thing I always recommend is scheduling your family session early in your vacation. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we have the flexibility to move your session to another evening. It's one less thing to worry about while you're here enjoying your trip.
When planning your outfits, keep things simple. Soft neutrals and light colors photograph beautifully on the beach and help keep the focus on what matters most, your family.
